Melanie attended Bellingham High School and graduated in 2004.  She then attended the Gene Juarez Academy for Cosmetology. While she loved living and going to school in Seattle, Melanie missed her family and moved home after completing her training. After 2 1/2 years in the industry, and trying a couple salons and numerous hair color and product lines, Melanie found Sandalwood and AVEDA! “I joined the Sandalwood team in 2008 and absolutely love it. I believe we work together to provide a complete salon experience. You can feel our love when you walk in. It is so nice working with people and product that have the same values I do.” Melanie specializes in color, foiling and corrective color, however enjoys providing all hair services.
